We've talking a bit about bears. It's not as much as I would like to, but it what I have time for between collaboration and minimum day and trying to teach other things. Like reading. Or how to put chapstick on. Yeah, that's a lesson now since we all have chapped lips. Fun times!
Anyway, I gave my kids a dot-to-dot of a bear. It was a very generic bear (like a teddy bear, really). I let them color it when they were done. We talked about what color bears are and aren't. The funniest thing of the day - I had a student make a panda bear. An "EEVEL panda bear". The bear had red eyes and sharp teeth. My student told me to be careful when I checked his paper so I wouldn't be attacked by his panda. Too funny!
